Cooke Mini S4/i lenses are smaller, lighter and easier to handle and most crucially deliver identical resolution, optical excellence and reliability as the bigger S4/i lenses. They are interchangeable for shooting both film and digital images, way beyond 4K resolution.

Cooke S4/i prime lenses are colour matched and optically matched with Cooke S4/i, S5/i and S7/i prime lenses.
 
The MiniS4/i optics provide outstanding optical performance with exceptional control of flare, distortion, veiling glare and spherical aberration control, even when wide open.
The Cooke S4/i primes use a cam follower focus mechanism which allows for buttery smooth focus precision. The Mini S4/i prime lenses are equipped with /i Technology, which provides cinematographers with essential metadata information on lens settings; distance, aperture, depth-of-field, hyperlocal distance, lens type and focal length. All of this metadata is captured frame by frame for real-time display – perfect for post-production.
 
The Cooke Mini S4/i prime lenses have an impressively large image circle too (larger than the bigger S4/i primes).
